Rotten food in the fridge? Document it… change your behaviour!
Do you have memories of finding this in your fridge? It happened to me all the time when living with students on campus.
Photographer Joe Buglewicz has been documenting whenever he lets something go rotten in an attempt to modify his behaviour. It’s kind of like naming and shaming himself. Check it out here: http://www.joebuglewicz.com/photos/rotten
It got me thinking about how effective I’ve found documenting things to modify behaviour.
– When I was a lightweight rower I would track what I eat and how much I weigh and the desire to not wire “Chocolate Cake” stopped me eating it.
– I keep an ongoing list of the major things I’ve been wrong about as a reminder to stay open to dis-confirming evidence.
Do you have anything that you document in an attempt to change your behaviour?
